Jojoba oil is the liquid produced in the seeds of Simmondsia, which solidifies at low temperatures.

So it is normal for it to be crystalline ice, and is golden yellow in colour.

This plant is a shrub that is native to southern Arizona, southern California and north-western Mexico.

Although it is currently cultivated worldwide, the desert terrain along the US-Mexico border is the most suitable for its growth and the best quality.

The oil in the seeds of this one-person tall shrub has good permeability and is also heat resistant.

The oil makes up about 50% of the weight of the jojoba seeds.

The oil dissolves oily dirt and cosmetics very well.

It also has a moisturising effect. Jojoba oil is a humectant ingredient.

It forms a protective barrier that seals your skin and prevents moisture loss.

Jojoba oil can therefore be used daily, it keeps the skin fine and smooth and helps to protect its radiance.

Jojoba oil is also rich in vitamin D and protein and is an excellent nourishing and moisturising oil that maintains skin moisture, prevents wrinkles as well as softening the skin.

It is suitable for mature and ageing skin and is often used for face and body massage and hair care.

Jojoba Oil Usage 1: Essential Oil Blending

Jojoba oil is a carrier oil and one of its main uses is in the blending of pure essential oils.

A typical blend is 2.5% jojoba oil 50ml + 25 drops of pure essential oil.

Whenever you want to massage your skin with pure essential oils, you must dilute them with carrier oil!

Jojoba oil is the best choice.

Jojoba oil usage 2: direct application

Jojoba oil can be applied directly to the skin and is suitable for any skin!

After a shower, apply jojoba oil directly to your body and face and simply massage it in to absorb it comfortably, especially for dry seasons like spring.

There is an even simpler way to mix the right amount of jojoba oil with shower gel, it is also very moisturising!

Jojoba oil use 3: Hair care

Apply jojoba oil to your hair, including your scalp, massage it in for 20-30 minutes (this is a bit long), then wrap it in cling film and put on a shower cap and go to bed.

The next morning, wash your hair directly with shampoo and conditioner. This works very well!
