Once you learn it, you will be able to avoid detours and quickly enter the saxophone performance to achieve the practice effect of getting twice the result with half the effort.

Hope to learn the saxophone faster and reach a higher level of saxophone playing, clear the following points.

It is not difficult to start saxophone, you must learn firm belief.

Hobby is the best teacher. Many people start learning saxophone because they are interested in listening to saxophone music or they like the feeling of playing saxophone very much.

But at the beginning of the practice, when you can't play the repertoire, the practice process will be a bit boring, and you must have a firm belief at this time.

In fact, after two to three months of basic fingering practice, when you can start playing the repertoire, the boring basic practice stage will become like a duck to water.

Master the "3 Essentials" of Learning Saxophone

There are many ways to learn the saxophone. You must grasp the three "key points" in the introductory study of saxophone.

1. Listen to your own playing tone.

Listen to the sound you play over and over and record it. Testing is the most effective way to learn. Find out if the tune you are playing is correct, and if the timbre is similar to the good timbre played by others, then correct the above problems and repeat. Listening to your own playing is an important part of learning the saxophone well. Self-appreciation of sound is also a good exercise.

2. Listen to the works of the masters, feel and imitate the timbre played by the masters.

Fingering is a memorized and proficient process that is well mastered. But if the timbre of the performance is good or bad, you need to listen to the timbre played by the masters more to distinguish the characteristics of a good timbre.

Hear saxophone players and masters play. So if you listen to the masters every day, even if you don't, you can develop an awareness of the tone in your mind. Subconsciously, you have a greater chance of imitating and approaching this voice.

3. Think more, use your hands and brains.

Genius is the product of focused training. The learning of all skills requires focused "training" with the mind. The same is true of learning the saxophone. If you want to learn the saxophone well, you need to think constantly.

Don't "do it without thinking". The time to think should be proportional to, or even greater than, the time to practice. Only in this way can we obtain greater sublimation on the original basis and generate inner potential.

Below is a collection of experiences shared by some people:

Lesson 1: The saxophone looks complicated, but it's easy to learn. Unlike erhu, it looks simple but difficult to learn. After learning saxophone and practicing for 2 hours a day, after about three years.

You can be more proficient in playing the most commonly used six keys of C, D, F, G, bE, bB, which can basically meet the performance and singing of different occasions.

Lesson 2: The saxophone is relatively easy to learn when playing wind instruments. The requirements for teeth are not very high. There is almost no requirement for lung capacity. As long as there is no disease in the lungs, it can be practiced.

During the performance, the abdominal breathing method is used (the inhalation can be mastered while lying down). The wind instrument practice is the control of breath, and there is no obvious requirement for lung capacity.
