The World Travel & Tourism Council recently released the results of a global survey covering 25 countries and more than 26,000 tourists.

The survey shows that global travellers' willingness to travel internationally is now at its highest level since the Newcastle pneumonia outbreak. 63% of travellers surveyed plan to take a leisure vacation trip in the next year.

According to the survey, 27% of travellers plan to take three or more international trips in the coming year, with travellers from Australia likely to be the world's largest consumer group. 61% of travellers surveyed prefer to choose travel brands and destinations that are sustainable, and 45% prefer to pay for brands that take on more social and environmental responsibility.

Travelling around the world is a dream for many people, and many people hang on to it, making it easy to talk about it, but few people can put it into action. Travelling the world is not an easy task and requires a lot of preparation.

1. Mental and physical fitness

Money is not the first issue to consider when travelling around the world/long distance.

The difficulty of long-distance travel is exponentially greater than that of short-distance travel, and it has more to do with the country you're going to.

Travelling around the world means that you will encounter very many unexpected situations, and then in every country that is not so safe, safety is the most important issue, not limited to property and personal safety.

So be sure to make perfect preparations and necessary psychological construction before leaving, such as reading various scams and fraud prevention guides, and how to deal with them if there is no way to avoid them.

In addition to the usual safety considerations, weather-related suspensions, traffic disruptions, customs seizures, visa processing extensions, and virus outbreaks.

These short-term trips are almost impossible to encounter things that are bound to happen on long-term trips, and we have encountered every one of them. You need to have a strong point of mental quality and the ability to quickly respond to deal with temporary events, without affecting the mood of the follow-up.

Of course, relatively strong physical fitness is also necessary.

Hiking in Chile's Bene National Park for five days and four nights, as well as a daily step count of 20-30,000 onwards. Changing cities frequently for long periods and taking different transportation to and from various places can also take up a lot of energy.

These are things you don't have to consider on a short trip, but you do have to consider whether you can afford them on a long trip.

You can certainly choose a more relaxed itinerary and less physically demanding activities.

No one will choose an easy way to go all the way, because the world's wonders are often dangerous and far away.

2. Communication skills

Language skills are very important, especially for solo travellers.

It's not that you can't go on with an interpreter, but for people who travel alone, a multilingual environment is the norm.

No matter how strong your solitude and problem-solving ability are, you always need to ask for help from people around you, and using English fluently can greatly improve efficiency, which you will feel very deeply when you are in Latin America.

3. Courage

This is the most important factor, a person does not even have the courage to go out of the country, how to talk about travelling around the world? Not all people can go travel at any time. They can not lose their job, and can not leave the pressure of life.

There are many people who will have a lot of concerns, such as fear of language barriers, communication barriers, fear of going out to eat, fear of long-distance running, and fear of encountering emergencies.

In short, if you do not have enough courage, travelling around the world can only be a dream. So before you travel around the world, be sure to prepare enough courage first.
