A while ago, Anne Hathaway bought a new house a dream cabin in California with Swiss fairy tales style.
It doesn’t have 25 bedrooms, cloakroom full of walls Hermes, super large luxury car garage or anything like that. Anne and her husband Adam Shulman's country house in California is just a small wooden house. The cabin has its own romantic color, making people feel the traditional customs of Europe even in Southern California.
The couple fell in love with this rural villa at first sight: "we drove all the way up and felt it was incredible and charming to see the vast scenery in front of us!" This villa is actually an old house with a history. After it was built in 1906, it experienced a fire in 1917 and was rebuilt later. Now this villa is also one of the only 15 Swiss wooden houses in California, which shows its rarity.
"This house is an ideal combination of romance and excellent design. My intuition tells me that it will become a very important place in my life." After Annie and her husband bought it, instead of spending a lot of money on renovation, they hired Pamela Shamshiri, a designer, to transform the cabin. Therefore, most of the transformation is the change of soft decoration. Compared with the previous, the cabin has more warmth and life atmosphere.
The designer retains the log design of the house in a large area, and most of the furniture and soft decoration used are mainly logs, to create the original ecological feeling as much as possible. From the living room to the dining room, bedroom and balcony, the color of logs is everywhere. But the color of the whole house is not limited to log color. The bold color collocation makes the whole home decoration particularly attractive.
