Looking at the earth from space, in addition to the vast oceans, rushing rivers, and dotted lakes, they vary in size and color. When it comes to lakes, we think of natural blue, but there are also white lakes.

The first is the Milk Lake. It is a unique tourist attraction in Palau. It is not actually a freshwater lake, but a small sea area between small islands. It is only a topographical relationship and looks like a lake. In ancient times, this was an area with frequent volcanic activity. The volcanic ash after the volcanic eruption was deposited on the bottom of the lake, and over the years, a thick layer of volcanic mud was formed. Due to the high transparency of the seawater in Palau, the volcanic mud deposited on the bottom of the lake makes the blue-green sea water a little milky, and the white volcanic mud on the bottom of the lake is very similar to milk, so it is called the Milk Lake.

Although the volcanic activity has been suspended, the bottom of the lake is still seeping hot springs, which makes the water of Milk Lake have a faint smell of sulfur. The volcanic mud containing minerals has a good beauty effect. Said to be a "lake", it is actually a small isolated bay in the sea, surrounded by mountains on three sides, leaving a gap to connect to the open sea. The bottom of the lake is volcanic ash that has been deposited for tens of thousands of years. It contains many natural mineral components. Together with the microbes with bactericidal effects in seawater, it has become an excellent natural skin care product.

In addition, Akkule Lake is also white. Its lake is "Y"-shaped, 6,600 meters long and varies in width. The lake water is milky white and translucent. The appearance of the lake is white and a little turbid. The moraine and surface moraine blocks are extruded and ground into a white white powder by glacial movement and brought into the river and into the lake, making the lake water white.

It is the main component of Kanas Nature Reserve, with unique and bizarre landscapes. The lake area has a wide variety of weather, and the weather is fickle throughout the year. Climb to the Gogo Xigaida Ban on the north bank and overlook the Akkule Lake, like a gem embedded in the snow forest; the lake is wide and elegant, the lake is deep, and there are small white fish growing in the lake.
