The 20th Ski Festival opened with the theme of "Cool Snow Life", and will host sports events and cultural activities covering a five-month-long snow season.

At the same time, we will make every effort to build Ski Tourist Resort into a world-renowned ice and snow sports tourist resort by benchmarking against Northern Europe.

As a ski-themed tourism festival, the first Ski Festival was successfully held in 1998 and has been held 20 times so far. Relying on unique natural conditions, promotes the transformation from "cold resources" to "hot economy" from a full-scale and multi-level business model, and cultivates and forms an ice and snow product system that "food, housing, transportation, travel, shopping, and entertainment" go hand in hand.

This year's ski festival takes "enjoying life in the snow" as the core of its publicity, and will integrate rich elements such as events, conferences, music, entertainment, and folk customs, and will successively carry out the 23rd Entrepreneur Forum Annual Meeting and the Alpine Skiing Championship, Super Fixed-point Ski Open and more than 30 events.

In the new snow season, Ski Tourist Resort will further shape festivals and tourism symbols and launch a series of sports events and cultural activities. At the same time, create a package of skiing and mountain sightseeing, the world's first slide, forest hot spring pavilion, panda pavilion, forest train, snowmobile, crazy snow circle, and other items to provide tourists with a variety of travel options.

Ski Tourist Resort will fully benchmark against the Nordic Ski Resort, and accelerate the creation of a resort complex with complete and integrated operations of skiing, accommodation, leisure, sports, entertainment, catering, shopping, social functions, and other functions in the new planning area, as well as ice and snow features.

The small town will be built into a world-renowned ice and snow sports resort, a host of the Winter (Youth) Olympic Games, and a national sports and leisure demonstration area.

World-famous ski resort

1. Åre Ski Resort, Sweden

Åre in the Jämtland province of central Sweden is one of the unmissable ski areas. It is the largest and best-equipped winter ski resort in Northern Europe.

The 2007 World Cup Alpine Skiing Championships was held here. Åre Ski Resort has 98 independent ski trails and 44 mountaineering lifts, with a total length of 98 kilometers.
